Finalizing Your Notarization? How Understanding Payments Contributes to Successful Completion

Are you navigating the notarization process for the first time and feeling a bit lost, especially when it comes to payments and finalizing your request? You're not alone.

Understanding the notarisation process can sometimes be confusing, especially for first-time users. This article aims to clarify a common inquiry we receive from first time customers regarding the finalization of their notarisation requests. In this article, we'll demystify the journey from scheduling your appointment to making the final payment, ensuring you know exactly what to expect and when. Let’s walk through this process together, step by step.

Concerns when scheduling appointments

One of the most prevalent questions clients come up with is about making notarisation requests is that they believe that booking an appointment with the notary equates to the finalization of their notarisation request. It's a logical assumption, but there's a bit more to it. It's important to recognize that your notarisation request is only considered finalized once payment has been made. If you're on the fence about booking because of payment worries or questions about the process, fear not! Booking is your first step on the path to notarisation. It's your opportunity to lay out all your needs and upload your documents, all while securing a time slot that suits you. Remember, your appointment is just the beginning, finalization of the request requires the payment to be cleared before the notary can notarize the document.

Furthermore, when you submit your instructions along with your appointment request, the notary will assess whether they can fulfill your notarisation needs. If they're not the right fit, your request isn't left in limbo; we'll find another notary who's a perfect match for your documents. Should you have any further questions even after your request has been accepted, our messaging feature ensures you're never more than a few clicks away from answers, directly from your notary.

Receiving a Price Quote

Post-appointment booking, a price quote will gracefully land in your inbox, as per the specifics of your notarisation request. This quote is based on the notarization details you have submitted and it provides you with the exact cost of the service. It's our way of ensuring transparency and helping you make an informed decision before any transaction takes place. Please note that at this stage your notarisation request is not finalized, it becomes finalized once the payment is received.

Payment and Finalisation of Request

Once you're comfortable with your quote and ready to proceed, making your payment is like saying, "Let's do this!" It's the moment your notarisation request officially takes flight, fully confirmed and binding. It is crucial to understand that your notarisation request is not considered final or binding until this payment is made.

Please note that if the payment of the notarisation fee is not received 24 hours prior to the appointment time then your notarisation request will be canceled.

If your appointment is canceled, but you would still like to get your document/s notarised, you will have to schedule a new appointment. That is why we recommend allowing time for the appointment and finalizing the payment as soon as you receive your price quote.
